    Hi All,

Heading to Kilkenny this weekend and I was hoping to get some tips/recommendations on where's good to go out, to eat etc.

10 of us staying in the City nears James St.

Also can anyone shed any light on the Car Parking siutation in that area?

I haven't been in the City for some time so I've no idea about on street parking.

    Any hints/tips would be appreciated.

What you coming down for? 10 lads on the lash? To get some culture? Stag?

There is a multi-story car park on James St. Not sure if it's open 24 hours or not, but it's part of the Superquinn/Market Cross shopping centre. There is also parking at the top of James Street across from St Marys Cathedral, but am sure that is is pay-and-display.

The car park by Mary's Cathedral is pay and display but is cheap at €3 per day. It is free on Sundays.

That sounds like one hell of a deal. Thanks Stephen.

Is that far from James Street?

    Please excuse the ignorance!!

It's just at the top of James' Street. Map attached.
