What are some of your favourite song intros? Personally I'd probably have to say Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Kashmir is worth a shout too though.

I think Bittersweet Symphony has a great intro as well and an honourable mention must go to U2's Where the Streets Have No Name.

What song intros do you like?

One of my favourite intros has to be "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC. Pearl Jam's "Jeremy" is another personal favourite, and I will have to agree with the choice of "Stairway to Heaven"!

And goodfellas...just around the 'ray-liotta-coked-and-paranoid' scene...

scorcese is an awful man for using the stones; isn't gimme shelter used twice in The Departed? At the beginning and at some scene in an apartment?
