I seen similar nr Abbeyleix at 6.00pm. There was some small rotation - looked like it extended 50m down out of a low cloud around 250m to 300m overhead but never got to the ground. Very heavy rain over a small area. Anyone travelling south along the N8 shoulda seen it.
