    Most of the short questions (are there any long ones apart from making up experiments on the spot?) just involve applying stuff you know anyway...

    Q1, 4 and 7 are generally called the short questions because they're based on all topics, but the other questions can be based on just 1 topic (e.g plants in biology, heat in physics etc) or 2 topics
