Sorry, can't remember. Just give them a ring.

Bout 200 Euro if I remember correctly.

New one should be opening up sometime next year in the new building (by the bridge) along with swimming pool, squash courts etc.

Please tell me the 200 is for the year.
    Just to clarify:D

It's about 200 for the year (because there are offers all the time) for "corporate" members (ie. non-students) but as a student, you ought to get it for about 150 if you join in Semptember/October (because again, they will more than likely have one of their offers on. You shouldn't have much trouble finding out anyway. Back when I was there, they usually had posters everywhere advertising whatever their latest offer was.

<edit> As regards the quality of the gym, there's loads of cardio equipment (treadmills etc.) but if you're joining primarily for weight training (in any serious way) it's probably not the best bet. It is by far the cheapest though (as far as I know).

I've always been pretty good at cardio activities so I'm fine for that.
Reason I'm joining is as I'm really skinny, got completely out of shape during my baccalaureate year.

However I'm unsure as to how I'd go about putting on mass. Does the gym just let your use their equipment or do they help you out by telling you what you should do,giving you a routine, etc?

    Thanks
    Cian

They give you an assessment and a programme to follow as part of the full membership. I'm not sure if they do with a student membership but if they don't, it's pretty cheap anyway (about 15-20 euros I think).

I could give you advice on putting on some muscle mass but I would advise against putting too much stock in what anyone you meet on an internet forum tells you (me included). Just tell them what you want in the gym and they'll help out.

I just use leisureland gym pay as you go, 8e a time, and you can go for a swim too. May have a go in college some time.

I don't swim much so thats no problem.
I'd prefer to have one that helps me out with a routine, left to my own devices I'd make no progress.
