I think preflop is fine, but out of position I just call a lot here as well. A lot of the time here you will probably see rivendell with a hand such as KKxx or 9TJQ, probably with clubs as well, or maybe top two, meaning that you have less flush outs, but if he doesn't have a set then you are still in decent shape to get it all in. It is an aggressive way to play it, but there isn't a lot wrong with it. I am presuming that you have been lagging it up anyhow given your stack size. His half pot bet on the flop though is a lot of the time designed to be weak looking I think, especially since he hasn't been out of line so far.

I'd be surprised if you were good at this point, but if you haven't been reraising a lot preflop (no idea if you were or not) then he probably has a good idea that you have AAxx so obv has a hand that he is happy to take you on with. I'm not mad about the reraise on the flop tbh, I probably lead/call a lot here.

you hit the nail on the head dom, kk with the clubs it was, i had been lagging it up a bit, had reraised with aces and double suited rundowns a few times previously so didnt think he had me down for specifically aces, i had been at him a bit so thought he might just be stabbing at it, no help anyway and im left scratching my head as to how i lost a 950 pot without really thinking about it
