Right, im looking for a band ( arnt we all ) .

I play guitar a long time, sing a bit and im in my mid 20's ( north dublin )

Ive been searching a long time now but always end up with the same spanners who either dont turn up, Or the one's who talk themselves up like they are already fameous and when you actually play with them they cant either

keep a beat
play a note
or hold a tune

im sure everybody has had dealings with people like that.

is there any decent bands that want need a guitar player ?

just to note influences would be

the beatles, lizzy, zeppelin, aerosmith, van morrison, rory, stones, smiths, corrosion of conformity, coldplay, alice in chains, beach boys,

maybe this is a waste of time but you have to try

ps even playing accoustic in pubs around dublin would give me some release.
covers if needs be. as long as the music is good.
