    Hi all,
Looking to see if its possible to rent a BMW Mini Cooper in Dublin? A mate of mine is looking to test one over the weekend for a trip to see if she likes them.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Why not try & arrange an extended test drive with a dealer? I doubt if they will let you have it for a weekend, but a few hours would do the trick, no?

    Won't cost anything either :)

Think she wants to complete a long journey in it before she decides to get one.
Anyone know of a rental place in Ireland that would rent one?

Has she tried asking a MINI dealer?

First of all, the name BINI is very insulting, I wouldn't use it when approaching any Dealer or Hire Company ;) Secondly, the only company in Ireland who hires MINIs (The capitalisation of the word is enough to distinguish it from the Austin/BMC/British Leyland/Rover Minis) is Hertz, they have about 6, and will never guarantee to get you one. They say it's hit and miss.

What you can do though, is contact Bavarian MINI Garage in Belfast. As far as I know, they do a Hire Drive scheme up there.
