Ebay problem

    I know this is probably in the wrong place, move it if it is.

    I'm new to ebay and i bidded on an item and it said i was out bidded at the last second so i went to another same item and won it but later i got an e-mail saying i won the first one. whats the best way to stop the first item. i dont want to get a bad name. any suggestions

    you won't get much help here on this topic. Maybe you can elaborate on the reasons why you have won the first item now? Did the previous top bidder back out?

    I'd advise just contacting the seller and explaining the situation and asking for him to cancel the order.

    Hi , Are you sure that the email you recieved wasn't a second chance offer ? sometimes when a seller has more than one of the same item they send a second chance offer as long as they are happy to sell it at your bid price.The seller is allowed to do this .If it wasnt that there is no other way you can become the highest bidder as the higest bidder cannot drop out with only a few seconds to go.Is this item showing up on your " my ebay " page ? if its not forget about it.
