Firewall question

Not a regular over here, so bear with me.

Our network admin is out, so I have been assigned the task of sorting out a rule on our firewall. We are using (it says here) a Watchguard Firebox, a hardware firewall. A user is trying to register on this site, the registration creates one of those images with the distorted letters to prevent automated sign-ups.

The image is generated via a cgi script, it is being blocked as indicated by the following line in the firewall logs:
    06/13/07 11:10 http-proxy[28904]: [192.168.0.34:2171 130.14.29.110:80/entrez/eutils/ecaptcha.cgi?h=0xDcC0Ue4O-ZyN-QcqlHLn8VDkuXmERCrYz5DKVFLrX2UmAeteOPLlfuAa8O-TZ0v&db=pubmed] Response denied: Unsafe conte
So, I assume I want to allow the cgi script to pass through content on the firewall.

My question is, what type of content would a firewall such as Watchguard treat a cgi script as? All images are allowed, so the cgi script is not returning an image type. Assuming I find out what type of content it is, I can then enter a rule to block it. Does that sound right?

    Thanks,

    TD.
