    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there has used hypnothearpy to cure any ailments.

Thinking of trying it to over come a fear of public speaking, but its quite expensive so I would like to get other peoples views/experiences before i decide to get it.

    Thanks

I have had hypnotherapy on it's own but it didn't work very well. That may have been me it may have been the hypnotherapist but it didn't work anyway.

I have used some NLP techniques to good effect in things like nervousness talking to strangers. I would suggest doing some research into the possibility of getting an NLP session instead. A lot of NLP practioners would have a qualification in hypnotherapy anyway so you could and most probably will get a mix of both.

but thats a story for another day!!

Seconded. NLP is the way to go with social phobias.
