Just wondering where they ship from and normally how long it takes to arrive I would have thought if it shipped from the North it would arrive in a day or two.

Hi , Yes they post from their main office in Dunmurry , Belfast but postage to the south of Ireland is the same as postage to Europe. What i mean is , Iam from the north so if i post a parcel to England it is there in a day or two but if i send an item to the south of Ireland it take the same time as it if was going to Germany which is usually about 5 working days.I know its silly and i get at the post office all the time but anything i post to the south of Ireland has to go by Airmail.

Thanks Big John thats weird isn't it, you'd think they'd just sort the Post for the republic and truck it down to a sorting office, that would be to easy I suppose :) I take it its the same for post going from dublin to belfast.

The annoying thing is that they do truck it down but we still have to pay airmail.
I sell quite a lot of item to the south of Ireland and even tho its only 40 miles down the road it costs twice as much to post to the south as what it does to England. If i have a lot of items it pays me to go over the border to post them but i have found that the postage prices in Ireland can be a bit steep for a parcel.

Well got my Sendit Package today, Shipped last Wednesday, so 3 Working days turnaround isn't bad.

Yeah i got something off them a while back, (as sometimes you compare prices with Play) this is what i remember of it, if the item is under £18 sterling it's shipped from their offices in Belfast, but if the item is over £18 sterling it's shipped from Jersey. As my package got lost in the post  & after many emails about p+p i received it a lot sooner this time!

Does this mean items over £18, being shipped from Jersey, will likely be done for tax/duty? I want to get a DVD boxset from Sendit, priced at just over €50. Will I have to pay tax/duty on it?

Don't think the Jersey thing is true, I mailed them this time last year looking for confirmation about where they post items from and all items to here are from the north. My boxset was probably 3 or 4 times over the £18 limit yet I had it within 3 days from the north.
