    Hi,

I was listening to RnaG this morning on my way to work & I think it was during the death notices that the woman said the following several times, at the start of each notice.

I don't know how to spell it, so I'm going to try & give you what I think is the English phonetics:-

    Suck-ry a huck-ry (or suck-ry agus huck-ry)

    What does that mean?

    Thanks,
    BB

I think it is socraithe na sochraide - arrangements for the funeral, but I am open to correction.

I wish there was an alternative national radio station in Irish so that the rest of the population wouldn't have to endure the death and funeral notices from the Gaeltachts.
