Question for Buddhists

    Hi,

I have been reading various Buddhist writings and listening to dharma talks for a while now.

I wouldn't call myself a Buddhist but I think that it offers a lot of insight into the most skillful way to live.

I was wondering though does the dharma (as you get more into it) ever require someone to believe in anything supernatural i.e. like God or the virgin birth etc.

I know that Buddhism is the most secular of religions and some have said to me that it is not a religion at all , but I would just like to get some of your opinions comments etc.. on the matter.

    Thank you for reading

    Ed

    Hi Ed! :)

    How are you?

I normally don't define myself as a Buddhist either, but anyway my answer would be: Nope, I don't think so.

    Nice relevant Buddha-quote:

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.-- Buddha

    Take care.

    M.
