Ive always had a thing for america muscle cars, Mustangs, Chargers, Cameros, Vettes etc, but after rewatchin one of my fave films of all time Vanishing Point, ive realised my all time dream classic is a 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 R/T

Is such a gorgeous machine and the sound of that engine is amazing.

And now a vid of the engine sound :D

If i had the money to spare, or a few spare organs to sell, this is on top of my wish list. Anyone here ever drive one before?

Bleh - that's horrible! It has to be white!

I was actually looking into buying one. Just saying pistol-grip shift makes me tingle. They're rare enough so you'd be looking at anywhere between $40,000 and $70,000 depending on condition. There's talk of building a new one but now that they've launched a new Charger it probably won't happend. The concept was a bit girly anyway...

You should d/l the Audioslave video for Show Me How To Live.

Yeah they are a really sweet bodyshape, shared witht the Plymouth 'cuda, beautiful !

That film was cr4p in a lot of places, speeded up racing against the XKE, and then at the end just before he hits the truck and explodes, the Challenger turns into a TransAm !!!
