Last night I got the idea into my head that I wouldnt mind looking into drum machines to put down drum tracks on home recordings. I havnt looked into it at all so far tbh but was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Any one in particular that you'd recommend? Ease of use vurses learning curve? What sort of price they are? I doubt I'd wanna be paying more than a couple of hundred like.

    All help much appreciated!

    Hardware or Software?

I've used Acoustica Beatcraft before and I like it a lot. I think it cost me around €30. If you're going for hardware I think the Alesis SR-16 is pretty good. :)
