after reading the short-term revenue jobs thread the idea for this thread came to me. basically im looking for 2/3 months work in pretty much anything this summer and i was unaware that these jobs were advertised on revenue.ie which would have been perfect. im studying for one more law exam in september and not doing a whole lot more in between and would like to earn some cash and maybe head away somewhere after my exam. ive searched some of the recruitment sites online and have not had much luck finding anything short-term for summer, basically would like t have chance to travel for a period in sept/oct before having to face real job/life. the jobs revenue.ie were offering would have been sweet, a friend did it a couple of years ago, said it was a piece of piss and easy money. anyway, if anyone has any ideas or thoughts on this or is looking for short-term work themselves please add to the thread

Register with an agency and see if they can do some temping. Other than that, just keep an eye out in the papers......

Ditto, it's a wee bit late now for companies to advertise their jobs so I'd say an agency is your best bet. Register with more than one and be flexible. If you live in a biggish town or city you should have no problem.

would you consider getting a student loan? - I got a loan of 1600 Euro and if it's paid back in 9 months you dont have to pay any interest.

You can get up to 2000 euro loans with BOI
