Thread needed for this me thinks.

    Ocean's 11 I loved.
    Ocean's 12 I liked.
Ocean's 13 is typical third-film-in-a-trilogy money making bollocks.

Some good parts but overall quite boring.

    *sigh*

Oceans 12 is one of the worst films I have ever seen. I really enjoyed 11 though.

Never actually saw Oceans 11 (not the new one anyway) but saw Oceans 12 and thought it was an abomonation.

I get the impression that they've responded to that and made some changes, wouldn't be running out to see it all the same (even with Al Pacino)

Oceans 12 was utter tripe. I only know one other movie as bad - Police Achedamy 6 Mission to Moscow. My christ it was horrendous. Julia Roberts pretending to be Julia Roberts?!? Fu(k me....

Not met anyone that liked 12, they tried to hard to be cool and swuave.

13 seems to be taking the same route as 11 and not trying to focus on the ol lurve

Yeah that's pretty much how I feel about it tbh, 11 was the best.

i found 11 had nice character touches and a great hiest plot.

12 tried to do alot of character elements and dropped the hiest, it fell flat on its face more because technically it was a badly made film.

13 goes in the opposite direction where the character elements are for the most part dropped and the film focuses comnpletely on the hiest.

Made the first 20 minutes of the film feel really wierd because if you havnt watched a oceans film in a while your sort of struggling to catch up on who's who and all the in jokes.

But once the hiest element starts to pick up, its an enjoyable hiest, though as a film I wouldnt recommand it. I found it more suiting to television (
the fact that nothing actually went *wrong* throughout the whole film killed alot of the drama

its better then 12 because the actual filmmaking is good, it doesnt over extend itself, its for the most part well edited (though somewhat uppity) and there is only the gap left in the film by far too small amount of drama.

As much as people disliked the characters played by Julia Roberts and Catherine zeta Jones, they do tend to add plot to the film, while brad pitt clooney etc brought the style.

I saw 13 on Wednesday and really liked it. Saw 11 ages ago, it was fairly good. 12 was an abomination.

When I saw Ocean's Twelve and they first started mentioning that she looked like someone famous I thought "no they won't absolutely destroy a bad film like that". But they did. I know its ment to be tongue in cheek but still. I could have made a better film. Ocean's11 was brilliant though and I hope thirteen is more of the same.

11 was great, a really well-good, enjoyable popcorn pic
12 was hollywood trash at its worst.it was almost like the cast had gone to george clooneys house and decided, what the hell, we will make a movie.what about a script?we will worry about that when its finished shooting..........

13s ......saw last night.was very good, pretty entertaining, but a bit too long and not as good as number 1

I watched Eleven and Twelve quite recently and I just saw Thirteen today.

Eleven is easily the best.. very enjoyable and re-watchable. I'd give it 9/10.

Twelve was a bit of a let down. Maybe not as bad as some people make it out to be though.. I'd give it 5/10.

Thirteen was certainly an improvement on Twelve, though definitely not as good as Eleven. The plot wasn't the best, IMO.. but it was again very entertaining and enjoyable. I'd give it 7/10.

I thought 13 took a while to get going. There wasn't much of the trademark wit but it eventually picked up. It's a good film though. Certainly not great.

The Julia Roberts bit in 12 ruined that movie for me in the cinema. It was a real insult to my intelligence I felt. Having watched it on DVD though, I tried to appreciate it for the tongue in cheek.

In fairness, there's a lot worse trilogies/ franchises out there.
Roll on The Bourne Ultimatum :D

Saw 13 at the weekend, and have to say i found it quite dull. Apart from a few nice comedy moments it all seemed, like the 2nd movie to be trying too hard to be cool. In the 1st movie the interchanges seemed natural, in the following two it all just smacked of effort. I wouldn't recommend anyone to bother going to see it in the cinema, a waste of money tbh!

I havent seen 11 or 12 but watched 13 last night.
I was able to follow it easily enough despite having not seen the previous two.
It started out well but it had far too many ludicrous plot holes .
    Pretty average stuff .
