This started happening to my brothers computer yesterday.

Originally i thought it might be overheating but it was not. Cleaned out the graphics card fan and reseated the card and updated the drivers but it persisted. Just about to move the pc down to my pc and test it on my monitor. Can someone confirm the issue and if so anyone got a recommendation for a agp card with similar or better performance to a radeon 9800pro

    Cheers

Happened to me a few weeks ago, during my exams. Had to pick up a replacement fast so I bought an X1650 pro Agp in Pc world for 140 Euro. Its ok, I would have probably gone for the cheaper 7600 gs http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=330416 from Nvidia but I didn’t want to run into driver problems.. Just needed it to work. The 7600 gs, is fine, the 7800 gs is really quick for the money http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=317794
