Just bought the above for €843 all in.

    What do people think?

One question though. It says in the specs "Core 2 Duo Processor " but the sticker says Centrino Duo. Whats the difference or is there any?

seems good to me, 2ghz dual core, 2GB RAM and an Nvidia 7900.

    Not bad at all.

I'm interested myself, how did you get the specs like that? I seem unable to get better than an x1400 with the inspiron 9400

I agree, out of curiosity, what's the difference between a refurbished and used machine?

They might be just a scratch on it or someone might have canceled their order and they end up in the outlet.
But yeah that looks like a good deal.

This may be shared RAM. Shareed RAM = the f*cking suck.

Otherwise good, but don't put Vista on it. Vista bad.

Its not shared. Its 256mb pure graphics.

From what I read the 9700gs is in the top 5 mobile graphic cards out at the moment.

There was a link from a thread about a 6400 about it. Cant find it now
