River / Canal Boating in England

Looking at booking a trip for a small group of lads (in 30's) for a few days (4?) on river or canal boat in UK. Have Googled and found Norfolk Broads, which looks good. Any experiences with locations and rental companies? Thanks

I haven't been but when I lived in London a number of colleagues went to the Norfold Broads and had a great time. From what I remember chilling out and going from pub to pub were fairly common activities.

I wouldn't know the companies they used.
