What are your examiners like?

My examiners are pretty useless at there job, to be honest. People talk all the time, and all they get is a shush, and they start talking again, about 5 minutes later. You could easily cheat if you wanted (Not that I would because I'm so integgligent already). I suspect people have cheated a lot already. On some occasions the examiner leaves the room for whatever reason.

All in all, the great change in atmosphere, the teachers had been reinforcing the idea of, has been very lost to me.

People make noise occasionally in our centre and thats about it. He doesnt say anything. He gives out the scripts and any extra paper. Thats it.....

Our's makes so much more noise than any student. Rattling plates and such, it's really annoying. :rolleyes:

Yeah. Why don't they just print really long answer books at the end all the papers?

And she messed up the Irish aural. And exams keep starting [& ending :mad:] 10 minutes late. And she loses it if you don't attach the treasury yoke properly.

we are all[the whole 3rd yr- like 170 people] in our school hall.........4 supers, no noise allowed at really, dont know if any cheating was going on , none that i know of...........

Ours is really nice! There is only 25 in our centre and its a fairly big room..she walks around so i dont think there is any cheating..shes really friendly too.

Theres probably around 45 in mine. There are partitions between the rooms and they are opened up. Nice and airy.......

Mine is a right b*tch,:mad: there's only around 20 in our centre and everyone has to be silent from 10 minutes before the exam, way before she's even handed out the papers. If someone even sigh's or grunt's or something she goes over and gives out to them which is much more distracting than the origianl noise:rolleyes: .

you guys have to be in 10 minutes before the exam?we;re not allowed into the hall until about 3 or 4 minutes before they start

my one is cool, no prob about going toilet, lets us start 10 mins early for most of them and lets us go whenever, she only got a glass of water on the first day, thats all she has got, wtf??

Do you have to sign the pouch thing that has the exam papers in it, to say that it wasn't already open. I'm up at the front and have to sign it every time:rolleyes:

Hope the exams are going well for everybody. There have been no major complaints to the union this year (a good sign), just a few issues over question phrasing.

Anyway good luck to all of you who still have exams ahead of you. (I feel your pain). Just think 2 months of pure FREEDOM

yeh i have to sign the big envelope ting loads too!! its to say it wasnt alredy opened before she gave them out my examiners really nice!! theres about 4 in my hall which has 3o something of us jc students and like 130 leaving cert students!!! and yet we still kinda tlk!! she was 10 mins l8 2day :O!!!!
