How to go back to Australia after WHV?

    Hi there,

I'm heading off to Australia in November for a year on a working holiday visa.

The problem is my girlfriend has already been there on a WHV.

The only thing i know that she can do is get a 90 day tourist visa and apply for an extension while she is out there. However this will mean she can't work out there and this won't be very feasible.

Is there any way around this - apart from working illegal which she's not going to do!!!

Is there any way of getting another WHV - she didn't do 3 months farmwork out there so that rules that option out.

Anyone have any ideas what to do about this?

Would sponsorship be hard to get when you are out there?

Thanks for your help with this.

the only way i know of other than working illegally is to apply for a job and then get them to sponsor you. if she has a skill that is in demand she will have no trouble getting sponsored. the only drawback is that you are restricted in being able to head off whenever you want to because she is going to have to go through the sponsorship process at each place.
