2 annoying Ipoker issues

1. After topping up your stack, the auto-post button becomes unticked. This is staring to get really annoying as it totally disrupts my game when multitabling.

2. New tables dont seem to become available when the rest are full. I only noticed this today playing 1/2 and 2/4. Every 6-max table was full and no new ones spawned.

yeah, the waiting lists during peak times are becoming ridiculous..

3. non standard table sizes..

The tables should be resizeable as well, that would be another big improvement

For the last couple of days the client is freezing on me every 15 minutes or so, when it comes back to life i've been timed out of every hand i'm in and my disconnect protection has done nothing even though i have it reset.
I'm not having any problems on any other sites so i don't think its my connection.
Anyone else having this problem?

These both annoy the bejaysus out of me, especially 1, surely that's a really easy thing to fix!!! And WTF is it there for in any event, who in their right mind wants to top up and then NOT post their blinds???

Get onto it iPoker!!!

only playing on 1poker about a week or 2 now and the first one drives me mad... another one for the list is resizeable tables so i can 4 on a 19" monitor...

and if you join a table and click auto post it doesn't give you the option to wait for big blind... I've been doing the fish posting from everwhere!

not big issues but i would play here full time if these were sorted....

on the plus side the service from GJP is second to none... had an issue resolved without any delay or fuss by Mike..

The Auto Post button is auto checked when you rebuy after being busted. Ipoker know about the posting issue so it will be sorted at some point in the near future.

As for resizable tables, I talked to the head of Ipoker about this and at the time they considered (wrongly IMO) that the mini table is an adequate replacement.

The spawning of tables is new to me (although I did report the heads up tables were not respawning and it got fixed).

I think if you manage to top up in between hands then the autopost button stays on, it's something like that...I had a lot of practice doing it today

I think the mini tables are excellent. It is pretty shocking that the first bug hasn't been ironed out yet, this is the tiniest of things to fix and it has been there for 3 months.

I get logged in and play for a few mins, then i get disconnected. I reboot and try to log in again and it tels me this user is already logged on

The mini tables are worth persevering with. Once you get use to them there is no going back. I have even shrunk down FT and PS tables to suit. Sites like mermaid/william hill really need to look into Smaller tables.

My only pet hate is when in a tournie and being moved to another table... it opens a new table and you have to close down the old one. On most other site you are just "there"
Pain in the hole the way it does that especially when you are multi tabling/multi software and windows/tables start poping up over other tables

Just fecking move me there like other sites!

I'd be all on for re-sizeable tables but look at the chaos it caused at FT for Poker Hud, Poker Office and probably Gametime+ Too, it took a long time to fix it. I suppose that wouldnt bother some people too much but i hate playing without stats and it would force me to move until they got it fixed and in fact i wouldnt be playing ipoker if poker office HUD didnt work, Gametime + just dosent do it for me.

The unticking thing was annoying at first especialy since i didnt know why it was doing it but now when i reload it unticks almost instantly so i by default auto recheck after i reload and it dosent really bother me. I play 4 tables but theres usually 1 or 2 tables where im over the max for a long period so i dont really notice it that much but i suppose someone playing 4+ tables might find it annoying especially if they top up religiously when it drops a few cents below the max

When you initially open a table and sit down, why is the min buyin always highlighed instead of the max, can you change this in options somewhere?

Alot of stupid things bugging the hell out of me about ipoker, when was the last update released?

Am I the only one who keeps sitting down at a table just as the river is being dealt with 3 players all in and gets frustrated that I can't see how the hand was played in the hh because I wasn't there from the start?

Realise all this stuff isn't GJPs or Paddypower's and other skins fault but really the title of this thread so easily could have been 22 annoying poker issues. Playtech need to sort this sh1t out in order to make IPoker a great network, it must be p1ssing off the skins too. Another one is the Buddy search, when you order it by name - it displays them in ASCii order that is ones that begin in uppercase first (A to Z) and then lowercase (a to z). This on it's own is not a huge big deal but it's yet another annoying niggly thing that is unneccessary and not logical either. I mean when you want to look at your buddies who the fcuk remembers whether the alias was in capitals or not. Makes you wonder if the guys who program this actually play poker - being an ex-programmer this stuff would almost definitely be dead easy to sort out also imo, which makes it all the more baffling that it hasn't got sorted out ages ago. Most of the issues are well documented now even on this forum alone so Playtech must be aware of them, be nice if they actually got around to sorting these many small annoying issues that add up to a big pain.

Another few for my list:

1. I am still getting disconnected all the time. Not sure if this is skin specific, IP specific or what.
2. The buddy listing system is awful. Where is the option to add someone to the buddy list if they are not at a table? Searching for every fish ive played with individually is just unfeasible.
3. Whatever people say in defence of the notes system is bs. Its horrible. The old Tribeca notes system was a million times better. Ive had a few people leave my tables recently while i was taking notes which means that the notes arent stored. Highly frustrating.

I hate the fact that you cannot rebuy until you are BUSTO in the rebuy events. Stupid. Adversely affects the prizepool size as well.
I've barely played on IPOKER since the changeover, used to regularly play Tribeca (which was never as bad as people made out). i'm sure i'm losing out on terrific value through this but the software is just horrific, nearly everything about it irritates me.

I didn't play on i-poker when it came out as i disliked the software so much... I've only decided to try it out again recently nad while i like the players I still hate the software. i would live with it's faults if it had resizeable tables....

it really is a requirement of mine to be able to get 4 tables on a 19inch monitor without major overlap... basic stuff really...

everything else i can live with

This is due to the issue of lobby refresh rate and is currently being looked at. Basically when the sites migrated the new traffic was sending too many messages to the servers and the servers were falling over. We anticipage the refresh rate to be halved by the end of July. Ipoker will then continue to work on the problem

Hi Hector. Playtech has full screen mode but the issue is once full table is enable you cannot see the taskbar or work on anything else. Not great at all. A minimize button is being added that will solve this problem. Due for release in July.

Agree about the table resizing. We have it on the list but I can't give you a data as Playtech havent given me one. Sorry

Notes are very poor we agree. They are on the list (its a big list!) unfortunatley thought they are a lower priority than stuff like:

Lobby refresh rate (causes delay in the display of spawning tables, players at table etc.

Tournament navigation - very frustrating to a lot of players we are trying to improve it.

Tournament rebuy with chips - are migrators hate it so we are getting it changed.

Bet slider bar - too difficult to use so we are altering it

Countdown time too fast for multi-tabling players - currently being changed project o be concluded over the next two weeks

Cards too small - fixed in the next release (end June)

I will give you more updates as I get them. I know there are many frustrating things about the software. It is a bit like starting all over again following the migration. Keep the feedback coming and we will keep trying to improve it.

Later this year we may even get to sacking the dollies at the table

thanks for keeping us updated, but it's a shame that such minor requirments are taking so long to be incorporated..

i can imagine resizeable tables may be hard work and could take some time but a lot of the other minor issues should have been resolved at this stage..

Surely someone in i poker could sort the tournanment lobby navigation in two minutes. Seems like it would be an easy thing to do. Its horrible at the moment

Although these migh seem like two second jobs often they are not. nothing on the client ever gets changed without:
Writing up a spec
Getting spec signed off by the Licencees
Sheduling it for work
Developeemnt
Exhaustive testing to ensure it does not affect performance of any other aspect
Send out to Licenceees for sign off and testing
Release.

Then of course there are the priority issues. Each licensee would also have site specific issues that take up developement time. Following migration the network experienced severe load issues this had to be solved. Our own integration had issues such as keying in your password a second time to access the my account section. We had to get this resolved.

I know it seems like we are not doing anything but we are actually making serious efforts. If you see the list above all of this is what has been worked on (following the initial integration issues) all of it is due for release in a July upload.

It's frustrating, I agree, but like I said it is a bit like starting all over again but this time with a huge bank of players who are not used to having such seeming small problems become large irritations!

OK, so you have a tortuous process for making any changes to the software. And you are using this as an excuse for spending so long to improve it (and, unlike every single NL and PL player on the site, you didn't know about the untick "auto post blinds" bug".)

So speed up the process. Make it so these baby bugs can be fixed in a matter of hours, not months.

I find on the mini tables that its quite difficult to determine the figure on the card , for eg 6 is very similar to 8 , the amount of times iv raised it up with 88 only to find its 8 6 off is amazing , maybe its my eyesight ( no its not ) but they could be a touch bigger
