High pitched noise???

    Well this seems kind of embarssing as my bother were still alive he would know what is wrong with the pc he built himself but everytime I start it up it makes a strange high pitched noise and continues to do so while I use it
    No after I disconnect the power after shutting down it makes a sort of weird fizzing noise can anyone tell me what this is and how to rectify it please???

    The fizzing noise after you turn it off could be the power supply... however... is it a CRT monitor (not an LCD)?

    If so it sounds like something that happens with a lot of TV's

    try unplugging the monitor and see does it go away.
    By the way this is normal for a lot of TV's and chances are not everyone can hear the noise. I know my brother hears these noises from some TV's but i cant.

    nah man it is a samsung 32 inch beast lcd moniter :D:D if it is the power supply what can I do it does not sound to healthy:D :D
