    Hey guys,
I'm doing interviews as part of my masters research. I have to get about 7 hours of interviews transcribed - does anyone know of a good (and cheap) person who could do this?
    Thanks.

The only crowd I've even heard of are there near the Four Courts (can't remember the name, but there's only six in the Golden Pages so I guess the one below is them), but they are not cheap. Honestly, unless you have a funding allocation for it, DIY. It costs a bomb (says she who is sick to the teeth of transcribing stuff to save her boss having to pay for it!).

If the material is mp3 or WAV files then try using www.castingwords.com - the quality of their work is excellent and the price can't be beaten.

Hey you have probably been sorted by now for your research but I can highly recommend www.equipbizsolutions.com

They are extremely competitive and turned my friend's digital recordings around in record time - hers were medical interviews for a Masters also. Anyway, hope that helps. Good luck with the Masters.
