good chance a reformer will come up in q.4. other than that i dont have much... :O

I will edit this when I go and find the sheet, I predict that reformer, a person in the industrial revolution among a few others I have.

I'd say 20th century Ireland and International relationships during the 20th century will be in their usual place 6. B/C and D respectively. If they pick this year, of all years to skip the best part of the course I think I might just kill them. ;)

Would you say it's best to pick a Reformer from outside of Germany? As far as I know, they have the tendency to say outside of Germany or simply just a reformer. They don't seem to have Luther as the only possible reformer very often.

Well I know luther well, I think Washington might come up so learn him wellish, I know a unknown planter in a known plantation really well. Need to brush up and the rest.

BTW any help on finding away to cover the whole 1/2 of the course in the night?

I mean from WWII to the end?

Not looking foward to it at all. Probably will do terrible.

Does anyone think social change will come up? If it does not, I should probably just not bother handing up my script lol!

Social change only seems to come up as a usually unfavourable option. I'd say you'd have 2 other easier options if it did come up.

matdabomb: Read the book until the end of the Cold War. Everything beyond that will most likely come up as an alternative to the Cold War. Besides, the Cold War is the least confusing.

I'm hoping to get by on a Reformer (Luther) and the Wars.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 702 ✭✭✭cork*girl

Im hoping to get the last 3years shuved into about 2hours. Possible? I think not.

Im thinking a renaissance person will come up. hasnt come up in a while or an old person describing changes after 1945. My bets are on those.

Im more or less fu*ked anyway. I hope for anything that is a pass.

A person who corrects the papers told me that he thinks a life of a monk will come up.

What things do ye think will come up about WW II and cold war?

any idea if its medieval or early christian ireland monk?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 408 ✭✭jb91

Early Christian Ireland. I think the medieval one is a Craftsman. You can usually get by without any first year stuff.

Personally I thought the exam was yuck.

Couldnt do q5 (C). I would probably question the relevance of some of the stuff I wrote myself also...... :(:(:(:(:(:( :

im the opposite, i thought it was quite nice and paid off last nights and lunchs huge cramming fest

and i do classics so that part of question 6 on an ancient civilisation was just sooooo handy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,893 ✭✭✭Davidius

That paper was a pain in the ass. I hate when they tell you to write accounts, I can't simplify anything they ask me so I usually end up with two pages worth. I barely started the Cuban Missile Crisis by the time the examination was over. Did they ask you to write three accounts in 6D? I wrote one on the Battle of Britain and made an attempt to rush Topic 1. I'm sure they asked another along with the Battle of Britain.

4A was a pain. I hate all three of those things. B was fine though. Last question on 5, I stupidly did i instead of iii.

Still, I can hope for an A.

    I thought it was OK

How did you get the inventor of the printing press wrong? In the bottom right hand corner of the photo of the Bible page it says "A page of Johann Gutenburg's Bible"!

There wasn't actually any point in that picture now that I think of it
