    Hey Starn,

The IOP bursary is worth 750 for the first two years an 1500 for the last two. Its given to TAP students then mature students then female students, so if you're a mature student an there's less than four TAP students you'll get it. They'll hand out application forms when you start in oct. There's plenty of other places to try, go talk to the senior tutor, there's a financial assistance fund which is pretty easy to apply for. go speak with your local partnership project, theres a millenium fund for people in your position. The citizens advice bureau on o'connell st might be able to help, I didn't qualify for a grant this year (ridiculous!) but i did get help from other sources, no ones gonna just give you the cash just get out there an find out whats on offer. just chance your arm an ask around.
Other than that good luck with the course next year an if you have any questions just PM me
    Good luck!
