    It's a grand photo Ronan ;) Maybe it's because it looks like so many others? I took a daisy yesterday, I know a flippin daisy, but I hadn't taken a daisy before so shag it, I now have a nice photo of a daisy in my collection. I'm not too excited about it either but I'm happy I have it. And it's a "grand" photo too, I think. ;)

    I think that is the issue, I've seen it a million times before....that's probably why I 'should' like it, but don't really.

    As for the alien, there was quite a lot of work done on him so that he was very muted, originally the background stood out quite a bit so I had to select a few areas and do a levels adjustment in PS. Other than that I desaturated the green and yellow channels in Lightroom.
