Thanks to KDouglas for the replacement spur gear!

The AK Beta is a lot easier to dissassemble/reassemble than the Glock 18c. Wasn't as scary as I thought. V3 gearbox can be a bit tempermental though when putting the casing back together.

Gonna order some metal shims & high quality replacement gears and a 1 joule spring for it on ehobby as soon as ebay give me back access to my account (idiots keep telling me that I am trying to break into my own account!)

With my G3 SG1 only a few days from delivery, I'm all happy & excited right now

EDIT: Happiness just dissapeared. Turned around to see the mess I have to clean up. My bedroom has gotten extremely messy the last few days.

Isn't it great when things like that happen. I remember when i got my my G36 and the mag wasnt working and Paul fixed it for me and i got to skrimish with it when i thought id have to wait a week or two.... anyway i know that feeling and its great

your welcome, im just p!ssed it didn't work first time and you had to re-open the gearbox, but on the brightside, at least now you know what a gearbox looks like
