Try AVG Antispyware or Spybot Search and Destroy. Also chuck Norton Antivirus in the bin and then shred the bin, its useless. :) AVG Antivirus free would be a better choice.

Do this to get rid of it, as Spybot and Ad-Aware wont since it has a process running when you start up

Please download the self-extracting version of HijackThis from here:

    HijackThis_sfx download

    Save HijackThis_sfx to your desktop.

Double-click the file then click the Unzip button. Then close the Self-Extractor window.

Using My Computer/Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\HijackThis and double click on HijackThis.exe to run it. If you would like to make a shortcut for your Desktop so it's more easily accessable, right click HijackThis.exe and choose Send To > Desktop (create shortcut).

Please run the extracted HijackThis.exe from now on. Delete any copies of HijackThis.zip that you have saved.

Open HijackThis and click Do a system scan and save a log file. Copy the entire contents of that log and post it here

Whatever you do, do not click or fix anything yourself. Just post the log it produces here. You should be able to copy and paste it into here. If you can't then just try attach it, although it's easier for me if you just paste it here.

Keep trying to get it in here

it would up load because its an unrecognised file type and and when i copy it , it wont paste, i tried to do a print screen and that didnt work either

    You posted the wrong thing.
Find the folder where you unzipped HijackThis to, probably C:\Program Files\HJT or something like that. Then double click HijackThis.exe
When it runs, click "Do a system scan and save a logfile". When that scan is done a file in notepad will pop up looking like this

Please download SmitfraudFix to your desktop

You should print out these instructions, or copy them to a NotePad file for reading while in Safe Mode, because you will not be able to connect to the Internet to read from this site.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
    • Restart your computer
    • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
    • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
    • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
    • Choose your usual account.
Once in Safe Mode, double-click on SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart it into Normal Windows.
A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

Next reboot back into Normal Mode.

We need to disable your Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.

    Open Windows Defender.
    Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.

After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

Run HijackThis, click "Do a system scan only" and check the following entries if present

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {B8C5186E-EC37-4889-9C2E-F73649FFB7BB} - C:\Program Files\Video ActiveX Access\iesplg.dll

    O3 - Toolbar: Protection Bar - {DF4E7A0C-E233-4906-B4C1-A404356541FF} - C:\Program Files\Video ActiveX Access\iesbpl.dll

Close all windows except for HijackThis and click "Fis checked".

Please delete the following folders in bold if present

    C:\Program Files\Video ActiveX Access
    C:\Program Files\AntiWorm2008

We need to re-enable Windows Defender

    Open Windows Defender.
    Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and check Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you check this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.

Please post back with the SmitfraudFix report and a new HijackThis log, and tell me if you had any problems.

You seem to be using two anti-virus programs, Norton Internet Security and CA Etrust Antivirus, this can lead to many problems, so uninstall one of these. I recommend getting rid of CA Etrust Antivirus, so go to
Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Remove CA

Your using an old version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, this can leave your pc open to vulnerabilities, you can update it here :

So in your next reply I need to see the following : the F-Secure Online Scanner report, the Kaspersky Webscanner report, and tell me if you had any problems.
