Concrete slab, how long to dry?

    Hi,

Not sure I have chosen the correct forum, but I am guessing that more builders than gardeners will know about concrete.

I am pouring a concrete base for a shed one afternoon next week. It will be about 5 inches deep and will be poured at whatever time the Truck arrives at, not later than 5.30 or 6.00 I suppose. Basically I need to know roughly how many hours before a Labrador can walk on it. I can keep the dog in overnight but am just wondering if it is likely to be ok at 8am the following morning.

    Thanks

Maybe you could put the dog there all night and then he would be a "setter" :D

    Next morning should be fine

    Thanks Muffler,

That setter senario is exactly what I could picture happening :D
