Anyone used a company called Homebuilder for their self-build?

Meeting people from a company called Homebuilder for a quote next week to do our self-build. Just wondering if anyone on this forum has dealt or used them for your builds and what you thought of them. they are a construction management company specialising in one off houses and are relatively new. I have heard lots of good things about them but strangely nothing bad! any feedback is greatly appreciated......

Never ever liked the idea of a noob singing the praises of a company especially with first post. What do the call that song again?................shilling me softly with his song.

I think a yellow card this time as there is still an element of doubt but this stays locked.

Ok, I have unlocked this again as the OP has contacted me and Im now satisfied that the thread is a genuine request for info.

Just a word of caution for anyone intending to reply to the OP. If you have heard or know anything negative about the firm in question then PM the details to the OP. Dont post them here.

Is there any harm in posting all information whether positive or negative - I am interested in the company and product also and would like a balanced/informed view - Just a thought

This is the problem with this type of thread. While something might be balanced/informed to some, to others it could be seen to be libellous. See Muffler's post above (post no. 4).

Sorry to hijack the post, but I am also considering using homebuilder to build my house. Any feedback (good or bad) anybody can provide would be greatly appreciated.
