    I have extremely vague recollections.

    I am assuming it was about neolithic people, probably one of those things RTE launched in the 80s trying to make Irish people proud of their prehistoric ancestors... even the name of it?!

    looks like the artwork used in primary school history books, i can't remember the nameof it i had it in 5th class i think , it was a weird size too, i remember buying it in the school shop in finglas village...class.....

    Yes i think it's from the 'pathways in history 1' textbook for primary schools! (1980's edition)

    was that the name? was it not something like living in the past ??
    the name was in white letters in the top right corner as you looked at it..
    it was probably educational company....??? ha now i have to rack my brain!

    Well, that's an Ogham stone, so it's definitely something from school. Other than that, I'm boggled.

    Yes it was published by the educational company of ireland (remember slightly from my days as a history teacher...)

    i remember the smell of the book... we got it new and i covered it in brown paper... naturally i traced the picture out cos you could do that if you got the cheap brown paper... not the good stuff he he , i'm sure its in the attic......
