Sub €200 - point and click camera

    Need a point and click small camera for less than €200

    I see in the "What camera?" thread you recommend the sony W50

    That seems to have been superceded by the W55, which as far as I can see is the same as the W35 with a smaller LCD for €175 here

    Is it still the recommended sub €200 - point and click camera ?

    i don't think these have image stabilisation , panasonic do a p & s at 208 euros which looks a lot better value.

    yep that one -- it seams good value at 208 euro - image stabilisation and leica lens included -- i'd get it ahead of the sony - in fact i'm actually considering it for myself

    edit : right , took a chance and bought this one for €195 (including shipping and shipping insurance) from ebay :eek:

    Video review here ( albeit with a clown presenting :rolleyes: )

    Actually that looks like a good buy, never used a canon myself, but they come highly reccomended , especially user here -- good luck with it
