But i picked up this beautiful sounding guitar today,

    http://www.thomann.de/ie/martin_guitars_dx1_westerngitarre.htm

It's been a long while since i bought a guitar in Dublin, infact about 5 years heh heh.... But i learned a couple of things, as many acoustics as musicmaker have, there's still not a great selection. Musician Inc still rule all.

Anyhoo... i like it a lot, i played a lot of guitars today, some cheap, some very expensive, this was by far the best. Highly recommended.

    Nice!

+1 on the Musician Inc. comment. I've been buying stuff there a lot more recently than in Musicmaker. MM has gone kinda ****ty in the last few months. Higher prices too!

Have you received the guitar yet or just ordered it? :)

Wouldn't risk buying an acoustic online either, each has so much individual character. Those Martins are gorgeous, nice one man. :) I like the acoustic section in Music Maker though, personally, though Musician has a decent selection as well, with their Avalons.

    Hey Lundi,

Did you pay much more than the online price? Might buy a new accoustic myself.

    Cheers

It cost over 100 more in the store, which kind of sucks but i purchased other stuff at a discount so it didn't work out so bad. Besides, if i did by online then i would have bought a hardcase for the shipping too, so that would have added to the price anyway.
