Mac to TV - output to both screens?

    Hi,

    I have my powerbookG4 connected and running on the TV, but the picture is on the laptop screen and the TV is it possible to output only to the TV rather than both as id imagine it requires more graphics uumph to drive both?

    Also when the cursor is on the left of some text how can you delete it, on windose you press the delete key whats the mac shortcut for this?

    in monitor settings if you look at the display layout, and drag the little white menu bar to the tv to make it the primary display

    I dont have those settings for the monitor, nothing to slide across at all? im using x 10.3.9 i cant see an option at all, i thought it might be function and F7 but its not either !
