I'm thinking of changing careers and i am looking at few positions in the building trade. I need to write a cover letter for a job i saw advertised, but dont know what i should write about applying for position and why etc. anyone have any experience writing one? I need to keep it short

Hmmm...if you read this thread in the Accomdation forum, they reckon tens of thousands of people in construction will lose their jobs in the next few years.
