I have vista installed on my laptop (Dell 9300). It was a free copy I got and I just upgrade from XP.

Is there any quick way to get back to XP with out a full reinsall? Only reason I ask is that I'm not 100% sure were my windows cd is.

I have work laptop and I have an XP Pro cd. Will that work for reintalling XP with my own key?

Ehh, you can't go from Vista to Xp. There is no downgrade option. Sry.

This guy doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. There is indeed a way to downgrade from a vista upgrade.

    Microsoft article here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933168

Why do you want to go back to XP anyways?
