A CYMA AK47s folder will cost a lot less then 170 Euro and it's one of the better clones. One of my team mates uses one. You can get it from www.rsov.com You can use the money you save to pick up some more mags or other gear :)

i was looking at that site, seen a nice jing jong ak, wood effect looked a lot better that airsoftwarrior one but how much metal has it, is it worth the extra few pound for a Mauri one from E Hobby. dont really want to get stung here, realism, reliability and solidness is what im after.
the only extra gear ill want is bbs, surpressor and considering a bayonette.
    thanks for the advice

Tokyo Marui has a better build in terms of internals, no question about that. The CYMA AK's wood furniture is more convincing then TM's which quite frankly looks pathetic.

Tokyo Marui, very good internals, good metal, plastic lower reciever an sight block, rotten plastic furniture.

CYMA, ok internals, quite good metal, plastic lower reciever and sight block, nice plastic furniture.

The TM will probably last you longer but I've heard a number of people saying their CYMA's have been running for over a year with no problems. If you go for CYMA you can use the saved cash to buy an Element metal reciver set and have a mostly metal AK or you could get the G&P set and have a full metal AK (includes metal sight block)

Nice one Lightning. Ive heard a lot of things said about the ARMY that conflict. Having some solid data on it will be nice. I may get one myself :D

are they easy are they to fix or up grade. id be expecting a bit longer use than a year for that money. (i bought a real shotty there at christmas for €60 and i know that itll be working in 100 years time.)
i wont be skirmishing with her but she will be getting reddened alright.

Any AEG can break very quickly either by abuse or just bad luck. Getting the more expensive ones reduce the risk but it's always there. As far as upgrading goes it's easy enough when you know what you're doing. Some works is easier then others, there's not much to changing parts of the body or replacing an inner barrel. Doing work on the mechbox gets more complicated but there are plenty of guides on the net. AK type mechboxes happen to be one of the easiest to work on :)

thats sound lad cheers, have here ordered anyways, ill wait and see what i have in my hands before i order any upgrades for it. any recomendations besides the receiver, would the standard barrell, battery ect be ok or would it worth the money

The battery should be fine. As for the barrel you could fit a tightbore but for the moment there is no rush. Most AEG's out there don't have tightbores so you won't be at a disadvantage. Beyond the metal reciever my next upgrade choice would be a wood furniture kit.
