    got a 6310i that has 3 problems:
    1. it switches itself off every couple of hour
    2. when i switch it back on it sometimes doesnt prompt me to enter my sim password and just brings me straight in, other times it works fine, and prompts me to enter my password
    3. the backlight goes off from time to time
i am surprised at this phone, was working perfectly up til this week

An option is to get it flashed to the latest software from a nokia agent. Then see what the problem is.

Phones probably out of warranty though.. so you'll pay for the flashing.

Could be a faulty / worn battery, how old is it. :)

The flashing should fix the problem where the phone goes on and off.But the other problems i dont know about so best option is sell it and get another one as its not worth the hassle
