Setanta on Free Vew Card

    Hi all,
    I was just wondering if anyone had subscribed to Setanta sports using a free view card? I have emailed them and asked them would it be ok and they said yes. When I called to subscribe noone seemed to know. I am in the black now as to whether this is possible or not. Any help or advise would be appreciated.

    It has been done before, but remember to ring Setanta UK 'cause this FTV card is suppose to be in the UK.
    To get a Setanta Ireland sub you'll need an irish ex-sub Sky card.

    Don't forget that if you use a card from GB you wont be getting live Premiership at 3pm on Saturdays and other Ireland only events will be blocked.

    if the ftv card was from the north or scotland would there still be a problem with the 3pm games as it is the 'english' premier league? does anybody have a scottish sub to setanta and if they do could they see the 3pm games last season?

    3pm games will only be available to cards for the Rep. of Ireland.
    We in the UK will only have 40 something live games on Setanta. The Rep of Ireland has 70 something I think?
