I have had enough! I thought id bring it up here before i rang chorus! Does anybody else's Paramount channel on chorus analouge in the limerick region keep breakin after bout 10 seconds and then come back 5 seconds later. It has been like this for almost 3 weeks! It is quite frustrating! Also does anybody have any idea when Trouble will be comin back to chorus digital? Thanks

Hi Ishmil. The problem your having is widespread across the city due to the ongoing upgrades by Sierra of the Chorus network, so I would expect it to continue for another while. I know its frustrating but it is a necessary upgrade which is of benefit to all their patrons.

That channel is completely unwatchable. I think some other channels go like that every now and then. I've also noticed on most other UK channels on analogue cable go really blocky for a second every few minutes. *And* BBC1 has been stuck in anamorphic 16:9 for at least 2 weeks now - and none of the TVs in my house are widescreens or have a 16:9 mode!

All these problems are problems at the head-end - they cannot be caused by the recabling as they are faults with the signal before it even becomes analogue.

Yes same here its very annoying! However i think it has gotten better now has it? 2 nights ago paramount wasnt on for me and it just said box locked enter instalation code. However i do not have a box and it looked like the digital background?? It is perfect now though and the channels have gotten much better quality!

I find entering 0000 (4 zeroes) unlocks for me.

I'm definitely moving to Satellite asap. I'm sick of Chorus.

I jumped on that bandwagon during the week! They offered me half price for 6 months AND movies and sports free for 3 months! (said no)

Read, with your eyes. This is on the analogue channel. I don't even have an STB.

Wow, it is back. So how long was that before they noticed - 2 weeks?
BBC1 is still in the wrong aspect ratio, and that's been wrong for even longer...

Your best plan is to ring and complain even if you already have! Dont stop until they fix it:D
