Anyone have Age of Empires II?

Actually, Got it in HMV on grafton street 1-2 months ago. They might have some other copies of it. twas only 25 quid Plus you get the conquerors expansion.

dont bother with age of empires 2,get age of empires 3 instead and get the expansion pack warchiefs if you can too,best game in the series,better graphics,AI is smarter and it has better units too,and a better campaign!:D

My version of AoEII stopped working when I upgraded to WinXP SP2 :mad:

I would go for aoe2 if you prefer single player campaigns, the campaigns in aoe3 are entirely fictional, too short and not as fun

But aoe3 is great for online play, good community and averages around 4000 players in the evening

Does AoE 3 have a non-campaign single player versus multiple computer opponents game like AoE 2 had? You know the game type that had the random map generator?

AoE3 has skirmish aye, but the AI is just as bad as in 2.

Much Prefare AoC (AoE2 and Expansion) over the rest of them, such a great multiplayer game, have spent many a night in the wee hours playing that with a few friends, didnt really enjoy AoE3 much apart from modding the absolute b*llocks off it, in the end most of my game had been modded in some way or another. Although back when I was doing it you couldnt get custom models, but I've been out of the scene for a long time so I don't know if they found a way around that one yet.

haha you were saying it the technical way and I was like eh you probbly mean skirmish mode

I think AOE 3 is great,much prefer it to the other ones
