Car Valeting - Cork area?

Anyone recommend a good car valeting place in or around Cork, got my car cleaned in one of the shopping centre places and they must have had Stevie Wonder cleaning it as it was not cleaned very well :mad:

Before the comments start about bringing it back, I had 4 visitors with me from abroad at the time so could not bring it back as needed the car to go to Shannon airport!!

We use OB valeting on the tramore Rd.

I used a place called Crystal Clean in the Grand Parade Car Park and I'll never use them again! As far as I can make out there idea of a valet was a wet cloth and power washing. I was pretty pissed off.

There's a very good valeting place next to the supermarkets in Grange. The guy used be a rally driver and he takes the seats out...in fact practically dismantles the car. Did a fantastic job on mine. Adains his name. Actually his website is www.atmvaleting.com

I used the place in the car park in Mahon Point too. They were ok but there was still a lot of dust down the sides of the seats and in hard to reach places. Definitely didn't take out the seats. Quite expensive too but on the other hand convenient enough.

My verdict either ATM Valeting or the Crystal Clean branch in Mahon Point...not the one in Grand Parade.

Useless arseholes. The last time I brought my car there they didn't even clean the car properly before waxing. They left dirt on the passenger side which I didn't realise before I got home that night.

I got a lift from my sister after she had been to them - I'd never have known the car was done unless she had told me.

I usually go to the one in Douglas shopping centre. They always do an okay job and their prices are good. It's convienent too. Come to think of it, I'm not sure they are still there with the building work going on.

I had my car cleaned yesterday in crystal clean in the Grand Parade and I have to say I am delighted with the job I had done,I have two dogs and they spend alot of time in my car so there was quite an amount of hair on the seats and carpets,The car came back to me like new,I am very pleased with the service:)

Used Crystal Clean in Grand Parade before.......never again! I'd like my carpets to be dry within three days please!

hi i used ob valeting on tramore road and i coulld not be happier they were very professional and courtious .The person I delt with was Darren and he knows his stuff . As far as i know O B Valeting has nothing to do with any other premises other than Tramore Road.:)

I deal with kevin in Valet master, tramore rd commercial Pk. 021-4323988. next to Musgraves, same park as O'brien cars, go right around to back of buildings. used Crystal clean in mahon Pt... disaster! As well as excellent weekly valets, I recently changed my car so got a bumper painted, the bumper looked irreparable, it came out like new, showed work colleagues & they could not believe it. made a good profit as they are very reasonably priced. I did my research after I got quote & they were the most competitve, would have paid double for the result. I am female so am always weary when it comes to motor issues, he explained everything, it was ready on time. Definitely not out to shaft anyone. Highly recommend this company & I am a perfectionist.

I just got my car back from Valetmaster Tramore Road. You were right GCOrk, car is spanky. Must take it back now to get a few old scratches fixed. Kevins is less than half the price with his Chipmaster System. Thanks for the heads up!!!!:rolleyes:

I went to ValetMaster on Tramore Rd based on the excellent recommendations our friend Kevin received on this site and was very disappointed with what I got for 90 Euro. Also seem to come away with a new scratch but can't prove that as I wasn't there! I was expecting the inside to be like you would find a car on a garage forecourt. There was still dirt on the seats and down the sides of the seats. Maybe for the outside the car was in better nick than I thought as it didn't look any better than from a normal car wash. For 90 Euro which I thought was a little over the top, I had high expectations of old but in excellent condition car into new. In my opinion you either try a mobile valet so your car is in sight of where you are or get off your lazy ass and do it yourself!! I will be getting off my lazy fat arse in future.

Its beginning to look like that alright :eek: I've used Valetmasters before and theres no comparison to others ive seen. My brother has a 09 Lexus and he brings it to Kevin on a regular basis. Nothing but good things to say about them. The crowd in Carrolls Quay car park actually polished my windscreen. It took bloody weeks to get it off.:mad:

as for the inside. I know Kevin has a fobia regarding cleanliness of the inside of a car and would sack someone rather than leave a car out like you describe.:rolleyes:

out of curiosity, does anyone know of a good mobile valeting service in the Cork city area? mcv is the only one I can find online and that's only east cork.

I ask as a friend said he heard something about one on the radio the other day, but he didn't catch the name
