Rear Suspension - NCT Question

Motor failed the NCT because "Rear suspension links are worn". Based on talking to the NCT guy I believe he was referring to the bushings...?

Brought it into one of the quickie fit 'brakes and suspension' places & while they only replace the actually suspension itself could not see any obvious problems while up on the ramp...

Car was only service a couple of months ago but probably separate debate whether this should be noticed...

    Any ideas?

your rear drop-links need replacing - they are thin bars that connect the anti-roll bar to the suspension, and if they failed the nct there should be a yellow x on them or near them.

What kind of car is it ??

IMO Quick Fit type pleaces dont know enough about these things, they are suitbale only for oil/brake/shock changes, stuff you can teach a monkey !

Indeed. They only do things that can be reduced to 5 simple steps or more.

    Try a mechanic.

Thanks. Couldn't find any marking on them myself.

    Peugeot 406.

I realise that but the place was convenient & close to work.
