    Sir Alan Sells Remaining Shares


    Sir Alan Sugar has today sold his remaining 13% stake in Tottenham Hotspur for 25 million pounds to sports media group ENIC. ENIC's shareholding in Spurs now stands at 66%, which previously stood at 54%.

    Turned the business side of things completely around at Tottenham, laying a lot of the ground work that ENIC have been able to build on.

    Was never afraid to back his managers with transfer funds, just a pity he was such a bad judge of managers! Appears he grills his Apprentice candidates more thoroughly than the likes of Francis and Gross.

    True he turned things around but he wasn't the saviour some would have us believe. Could have handled the Venables situtation better and kept Venables at the club as manager.

    You could add Ossie to that list as well and don't for get the george the gooner:D

    It was hell on earth during his era - reminds me of Angel's Ashes - non stop gloom!!
