They're probably be something about elections on it.

Not at all. The exam practically tells you the answers. =/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,310 ✭✭✭Trogdor

no, it's just a few ordinary level english comprehensions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,871 ✭✭✭Conor108

No I'm not going to study for that. God knows why thats on the syllabus. It's such a useless subject. I call it a 'freebie' exam because all you have to do is sit in the room for a while and answer 6th class stuff and come September you get.....a free A!

Be thankful that you are able to read confidently and in a position to scoff at CSPE. Some students have a very hard time with the level of English in it.

Let's hope you never have a child who will find their CSPE paper a lot more than a 'freebie' exam.

Oh I'm just saying it's not very useful is it? I mean a question in our mocks was match leaders to where they live. Like how is that important:eek: Oh and in our mocks you had to do an election poster and this kid in my class just had a laugh and wrote 'Vote for me im great' really big:D

FF will be after him - Cyprian could have done with a few more 1st preferences instead of the measly number he got in Dublin Central.

I can see it now 'We are the Shinners - you'd better vote for us....just because.....'

Almsot as good as their 'Others threaten, we carry things out' slogan, or whatever it was...;)

Yeah I did same thing with the Post question. Just wrote " Vote me" failed it though due to not handing in my action project. So come the real day we had to do it I had to make it mostly up lol

I didn't know what to do and in the end i just got the dart home from booterstown(1 hour trip) and i'm going to go back in again in around an hour and a half.

lol can you say JOKE? That was probaly the most retarded test ever. I got it finished in 29 mins flat.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,893 ✭✭✭Davidius

I didn't know Sargent's name seeing as I'd come to call him 'Blockhead'.
Was there meant to be three 's' in 'streeet' on the Pavee point page?

The near four hour gap between the exams was painful. I ended up with sunburn with so much time to spare.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,554 ✭✭✭zonEEE

lol @ the cspe exam what a piss take how can they call it a exam.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 408 ✭✭jb91

No one else seemed to know who Trevor Sargent was  but apart from that it was easy. The exam hall emptied about 35 minutes in. There was a stampede the second the examiner said "Anyone who wishes to leave may do so" lol.

Really easy CSPE paper and the Irish paper 2 was grand. Loads of people thought it was impossible though  It took me most of the 2 hours but I got pretty good answers for everything.

that was easy yeah the correction lol it was like "had" instead of "have" or something from one tense to another!! ahh god that was soo easy it was a joke
    !!
