The brother is looking for a 10/11 foot bar to cover the gap where his wooden floor/floor tiles meet. But from looking around the longest seem to be 6 foot ones. Anyone ever come across longer ones or have another idea of covering the gap.

I am looking to put in a basic attic stairs in. Really looking for something as a quick fix so was not going to go down the stira stair route. Any of the ones I have seen in the diy shop require joist cutting to make them fit. Was thinking about these types which seem to attach to your exsiting trap door which you convert to hinge down. Has anyone seen this type stocked in any of the usual suspects

    Cheers
