I have put together a very simple site which allows you to post problems like water/electricity/gas/road/airport outages for other Cork residents to find.

It was inspired by the fact that we could find out zero info from Cork CoCo re a burst water main in Bandon over the weekend.

You do have to sign up to a service called Twitter to post problems but anyone can view them. Posting is via Twitter Web page, SMS or Google GTalk.

We should be adding severe weather alerts at the airport soon.
